The Quay Foyer in Poole, who are part of Year One of the Foyer Health Programme, have been busy with health taster sessions; from swimming in the sea to iceskating, to fishing and sculpture staff and residents have been inspired to get healthy!
The Foyer took a trip to the beach to host a sports day for staff and residents as part of their Foyer Health Programme. Residents got involved in games of volleyball and rounders and went for a swim in the sea.
They also visited Brownsea Island for a healthy picnic and sculpture session where residents were invited to make their own sculptures with the title 'Animal'. The winning sculpture was a brilliantly inventive turtle.
The Foyer ran a mental well-being session and took residents on a fishing trip.
Staff and residents also took a trip to Monkey World a chimpanzee rescue centre in Dorset.
