Physical Activity

Cycling

Rugeley Foyer invested in five bicycles thanks to the Health Programme. The rural location of Rugeley Foyer is ideal for cycling and all bikes have been used regularly. Some residents have even taken on the challenge of a 6 mile bike ride!

Market Rasen Foyer raised £80 for Red Nose Day cycling on the Foyer's static bike from 9 am till 4.30 pm!

Weekly Fitness Sessions

Many Foyers, including Blackburn with Darwen Foyer have invested in a Nintendo Wii and Wii fit board to encourage young people to exercise.

Redbridge Foyer residents and staff have got some catchy names for their weekly activities:

Motivation Mondays
Gym, fitness groups and leisure centre passes are all available.

Wii Wednesdays
Wii Sports, Olympic Games and Wii Fit morning and afternoon sessions happen every Wednesday, with options for female only sessions and different games, groups and levels.

Fit Thursdays
Redbridge Foyer staff and residents have been making the most of their Health Pack. Now that the sun is shining, they are planning regular trips to the local park to play football and rounders.
